Every year between the months of October and March, 150,000 Winter Texans visit the Rio Grande Valley. These visitors infuse about $802.5 million into the Valley's economy. Many of them will decide to retire permanently in Texas. Today's retirees are increasing in number, are more financially secure, and live longer than their predecessors. Area businesses, Health Professionals, and Health Related services benefit from our seasonal residents and their families.

The Winter Texan Expo & Health Fair is a fun-filled, 2-day event held every January in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas. The 20th Annual Winter Texan Expo & Health Fair will be held in the McAllen Convention Center January 21st & 22nd, 2014
from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
We are looking forward to another successful show for everyone involved. In addition to offering top Entertainment Headliners for the enjoyment of our attendees, we are also featuring free admission, free health screenings, free information and plenty of Door Prizes. We not only welcome our Health Community to participate in our show, we also welcome Area Businesses and Restaurants that provide goods and services to our over-50 crowd. We are planning an Expo that caters to all of our attendees needs.

If you are a Senior and want to meet businesses face to face instead of flipping a coin or pointing to a page in the yellow pages, come on down! We will have a variety of businesses there so you can see the best. AND...WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A GOOD TIME! Lots of Information, Entertainment, and Door Prizes! And we offer free health screenings.
