Every year between the months of October and March, 150,000 Winter Texans visit the Rio Grande Valley.

The Winter Texan Expo & Health Fair is a fun-filled, 2-day event held every January in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas. The 24th Annual Winter Texan Expo & Health Fair will be held in the McAllen Convention Center January 17-18, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

What could be better than free health screenings combined with vendor giveaways and great door prizes?  The Winter Texan Expo & Health Fair, of course!!!

This year, the 24th Annual event will be held January 17 and 18, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the McAllen Convention Center.  Although it's called the "Winter Texan" Expo and Health Fair, all seniors are welcome!

Admission is free.  The health screenings are free.  The giveaways and door prizes are free. AND, the entertainment (a lineup that can't be beat) is also free!

The Expo is presented by South Texas Health System and sponsored by Amazon.com, Gulf Coast Eye Institute, HEB, Mattress HQ, Mercedes Benz of San Juan, Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department, Shah Eye Center, Texas Department of Agriculture GO TEXAN program, Texas Regional Bank, The Mackie Clinic, Thurmond Eye Associates and Weslaco Regional Rehabilitation Hospital.
